山东雪灾致经济损失18亿元

    Heavy snow inflicted direct economic losses of 1.87 billion yuan ($274 million) in Shandong, local civil affairs authorities said last week. The snow forced the evacuations of thousands of people from their homes, damaged 66,310 hectares of crops and impacted 5,883 houses, of which 138 collapsed. Snow in Weifang was 20 centimeters deep on average.
