上海公共场所实施“禁烟令”

    The city’s first law to ban smoking in public venues such as schools, hospitals, and shopping malls took effect this month. People who smoke in banned areas will be warned by supervisors and fined 50 yuan ($7.30) to 200 yuan if they refuse to cease smoking. The local health authority has registered 20,000 local volunteers citywide to enforce the law.
