新疆结束5天雪崩救援活动

    Xinjiang announced on March 3 the end of its avalanche rescue efforts. More than 450 people stranded in separate avalanches were rescued over the course of five days. Helicopters were also sent for those trapped in severe avalanche conditions. Relief goods were dropped for those tending to livestock. Weather forecasters predicted more snow in the coming days.
