世界最大太阳能船亮相基尔

    The world largest solar boat, the Planet Solar, debuted on February 25 at the Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft shipyard of Knierim Yachtbau in Kiel, Germany. The 30-meter-long and 16-meter-wide catamaran is topped with about 500 square meters of photovoltaic solar panels. It will commence its maiden voyage around the world in 2011.
