Vast iceberg a threat to oceans

       巨型漂移冰山造成气候威胁

A vast iceberg that broke off the Antarctic continent last month could disrupt the world’s ocean currents and weather patterns, warned climatologists. Australian researchers say the iceberg is the size of Luxembourg and could block an area that produces a quarter of the world’s dense and cold seawater. A slowdown in the production of this water could result in colder winters in the north Atlantic.
