China’s latest Antarctic expedition team has set up a real-time data transmission station that will monitor the sea level in waters close to China’s Antarctic Zhongshan station. The station will gather data that can be shared with other countries for the analysis of the change of the global sea levels and facilitate China’s research of the global climate change, said Huang Jifeng, a member of the team in charge of the program.
