    According to Fujian’s labor and social security authorities, 45,200 jobs were created for urban residents province-wide in January, representing 6.9 percent of the year’s target. Of these jobs, 5,800 were created for laid-off employees of state-owned enterprises, representing 7.7 percent of the year’s target.
