SMS used to cut hospital lines
短信解决医院排队难
The Malaysian Health Ministry is making efforts to introduce an text message system at hospitals in a bid to reduce patient wait time. An appointment reminder will be sent out via text message when there are five patients before a person’s turn. The system will also provide updated statistics through which the ministry can monitor the number of patients, the illnesses being treated and the duration at the various departments within the hospital and clinics.
