江苏夫子庙新生入学

    Approximately 300 new students from the Fuzimiao Primary School took part in a Confucian ceremony last week, marking the beginning of their formal education in Nanjing, Jiangsu. Pupils wore traditional outfits to the ceremony at a Confucius temple, where they tolled a bronze bell to open the new semester. Students also bowed to their teachers before classes began, in deference to Confucian tradition.
