21B yuan for Yushu reconstruction

China will commit 21 billion yuan ($3.1 billion) over three years for reconstruction work in quake-hit Yushu, Qingha. The central government has earmarked nine billion yuan for this year, 10 billion yuan for 2011 and two billion yuan for 2012, said China’s Finance Minister Xie Xuren. The 7.1-magnitude quake that struck Yushu on April 14 left 2,698 people dead and 270 missing.
