古老观音像回归故乡云南

    A gilt bronze statue of Guanyin, a religious figure associated with compassion, was purchased from an American collector for 1.59 million yuan last week and returned to Yunnan. The statue was taken from China more than 80 years ago. This half-meter high bronze miniature weighs three kilograms and is currently on display in Yunnan’s Dali Museum.
