    A British teacher has become the first person to complete a solo circumnavigation of the African continent on two wheels. Spencer Conway, 42, traveled 37,000 miles on his journey. He was shot at by armed bandits in Kenya, stoned by angry villagers in Egypt and held up for weeks at a time waiting for visas during his nine-month journey through 34 countries.
