“最难修”宜万铁路全线铺通

    A mountain railway link was completed in Enshi, Hubei, last week and is expected to be operational within the year. The Yichang-Yiwan Railway totals 377 kilometers in length and was designed to shorten the journey between the mountainous regions from Hubei to Chongqing. While the railway was first conceived in 1903, construction did not begin until 2003 because of the difficult terrain.
