Ningguo, home to rare trees
安徽宁国珍稀树种园建成
Construction of China’s largest garden holding rare native trees wrapped up last week in Ningguo, Anhui. Work on the “Ten Thousand Acres Native Tree Species Garden” began in 2008. The total cost of the project reached 180 million yuan. Organizers hope that the garden will provide a scientific base for scientists, a resort for visitors and a gene pool for the rare native tree species.
