校园通讯--Discover Singapore （2）

       7月12日，小记者新加坡香港游学营的营员们走进了丰伟小学，与新加坡当地的小朋友共度一个上午的快乐时光。在丰伟小学停留短短半天，游学营的老师和同学们都感受到了新加坡的人性化教育氛围。

    Junior reporters on a recent study tour jointly sponsored by Common Talk Weekly and Du Man Education traveled to Singapore and Hong Kong last month. The group visited Singapore’s Feng Wei Primary School on July 12, where they shared classes with local schoolchildren and participated in a series of recreational activities.

    “Feng Wei Primary School has an elegant and clean environment. The school really cares for its students. I saw that in every detail of the school.”

       丰伟小学是一所政府小学，环境幽雅清爽，浓浓的人文情怀已渗透在了每一个不经意的细节中。学校相当重视对人性的关怀。一进校门，温文尔雅的校长、热情的老师和同学们把我们迎进了学校，一张张热情的笑脸，一声声亲切的普通话问候，一句句落落大方的介绍，将我们的心灵和头脑填满。

    “Though children in China and Singapore are separated by mountains and waters, the friendship between us bridges the distance. The happy times we had are deeply planted in our hearts.”

       新加坡小学的作息时间和我们有所不同，早上上课时间是从7点到下午1点，中间有半小时的休息时间，可以进行课外活动、或是吃一点儿点心。在课堂上，他们思维敏捷，课堂气氛也活跃，我们一起度过了一段不同寻常的快乐时光。中国小朋友与新加坡小朋友之间虽然远隔千山万水，但我们之间却有一座友谊桥，而这一段美好时光也深深地印在了我们心中。

    “During the visit to Feng Wei Primary School, we not only explored their timetable of work and the teaching methods in Singapore, we also made some new friends. Besides, we even received a souvenir from the school. What a generous harvest!”

       当地的老师同学们上课都用英文，虽然我只能听懂很小的一部分，但是他们活跃轻松的课堂氛围让我印象深刻。丰伟小学的教学楼是彩色的，分为四层，每一层都有不同的含义——第一层代表海洋，第二层代表陆地，第三层代表天空，第四层代表宇宙。同学们在墙壁上画了许多生动的彩绘，就连教室里也都是五颜六色的。

       在新加坡，学校创造了一个极其轻松的环境，为学生创设了各式各样的学习氛围，极力发挥学生的潜能。在简短而又隆重的欢迎仪式上，一个垃圾桶或是一把扫帚，都可以成为学生的表演工具，他们拿着这些卫生器具敲敲打打，富有节奏而又充满创意。
