    The Marco Polo Xiamen Hotel has invited a series of renowned chefs to submit recipes for premium moon cakes for the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival. Offerings include a double-yolk lotus-paste moon cake with a thin skin and pastry moon cakes. Other varieties on offer are a double-yolk golden emerald moon cake and a healthy low-sugar melon seed and lotus-paste moon cake. 

    The moon cakes will be offered as a series of boxed packages. The re-usable and environmentally-friendly gift box in which the moon cakes are held contains three drawers that can serve post-festival as a charming jewelry box.
