    World Expo attendance reached 30 million last week, according to local officials. Chen Xianjin, deputy director general of the Expo bureau, said attendance is expected to be above 400,000 people per day through the end of the Expo and will likely achieve the 70 million visitors originally predicted by event organizers. It took 36 days for attendance to reach 10 million and 82 days to hit 30 million.
