妈祖故乡燃起“特奥”圣火

    The flame for the fifth China Special Olympic Games was kindled from the sun’s rays last week on Meizhou Island in Putian. The lighting was performed by former Olympic weightlifting champion Shi Zhiyong and Special Olympics image ambassador Li Xiaofan. A torch relay is set to begin on August 15 across Fujian. The Games will open on September 19.
