Plot Outline:
Jesse, a writer from the US, and Celine, a Frenchwoman, acquainted nine years ago on the train from Budapest to Vienna, meet again when Jesse arrives in Paris for a reading of his new book. As they have only a few hours until his plane leaves, they stroll through Paris, talking about their experiences, views and whether they still love each other, although Jesse is already married with a kid.

Some Comments:
This movie is pretty funny if you don't want to think too much. Yes, the movie doesn't really have a consistent plot and is mainly divided up into different segments, but the movie is still hilarious, and Douglas McGrath does an excellent job as the geek who the government assigns to a dangerous mission. Oops, sorry. WHOM the government assigns to a dangerous mission. |
