挑选钻饰有窍门
钻石的价格主要是由4C标准决定. 若能深谙4C标准定价原则, 则可找到窍门, 获得价廉物美的钻饰.
1, 重量. 重量是分级计价的, 每个级差之间每克拉相差15%-几万%不等. 越是大颗粒钻石, 价差越大. 例如: 99'与1CT之间, 虽然只差0.01克拉, 但价格差价达30%-100%. 如果你会合理地选择重量, 则可极大省钱.
2, 净度. 净度的每级即(LC, VVS, VS, SI, P之间)差价为10-40%, 例如: 同等色级, 切工重量为0.3CT的1颗VVS净度的钻石要比VS净度钻石高出1000-2000元.
3, 色级. 颜色从D到M-N分3类11个等级, 类型之间相差10-30%, 每个等级之间又相差10%. 例如一颗0.3CT左右的钻石, 净度同样是VS, 切工都不错, J与H两种颜色之间的价格相差20%左右;
4, 切工. 在钻石的总价格中, 重量占40-60%, 净度占15-25%, 颜色占15-20%, 切工占20-35%.
切工重要性不容忽视, 这是因为钻石的美丽就是依赖于它的切工, 而且还会影响到成品钻石的重量. 而一般的鉴定证书中只有净度, 颜色的评价, 并没有切工评价这一项, 因此消费者要重视这一点. 那么要如何比较切工的好坏呢? 消费者可以从直观的感觉上来判断. 好的切工, 明亮, 火彩美丽; 差的切工则显得暗淡, 死白, 火彩不好.
切工一般以加工产地来命名. 不同切工之间又有一定的差价, 在一般市场上, 印度切工最低, 比利时切工最高. 当然, 在市场上还有俄罗斯切工, 中国切工, 因为这两种切工只注重工艺及钻石的美丽, 而不计损耗, 因此他们的工费是非常贵的, 市场上比较少见.

Choosing the right diamond
The price of a diamond depends on the four Cs. If you understand these principles, you have the secret to choosing a diamond which is worth its price tag.
1) Carat. The weight of a diamond is rounded to the nearest carat, and the price difference between two carat grades can be anything from 15% to hundreds of times higher. The bigger the diamond, the bigger the price difference. For example, a 1 carat stone is only 0.01 carats bigger than a 0.99 carat stone, but the price may be 30% - 100% higher.
2) Clarity. There is a 10%-40% price difference between each grade of clarity (LC, VVS, VS, SI, P). For example, if two 0.3 carat diamonds have the same cut and color but one is VVS and the other is VS, the VVS stone will be 1000　-2000 yuan more expensive.
3) Color. Color is divided into 3 kinds and 11 grades from D to M-N. There is a 10%-30% difference in price between the 3 kinds, and about a 10% difference between each grade. For example, two 0.3 carat stones with VS clarity and good cut would have a price difference of about 20% if one was color grade J and the other grade H.
4) Cut. In consideration of the price of a diamond, weight makes 40%-60% of the difference, clarity 15%-25%, color 15%-20% and cut 20%-35%.
The importance of the cut cannot be overstated. The beauty of a diamond depends entirely on the cut, and it will also affect the weight of the finished article. Many diamond certificates include only the clarity and color of the diamond, and do not mention the cut, so the buyer should be careful to consider this factor. How should you assess the cut of a diamond? The buyer can judge the cut for themselves just by looking at the stone. A good cut will make the diamond bright and sparkling; if the cut is not good the diamond will look dull or pallid, and will have no fire.
Grades of cut are often named after the place in which the cutting was done. As a rough guide, Indian cuts are often the cheapest, and Belgian cuts the most expensive. Of course, there are also Russian and Chinese cuts. These two cuts are both made without reference to waste or the original shape of the diamond, and seek only to maximize the beauty of the stone. This makes them the most expensive, and they are very rarely seen.
