December 1st is World AIDS Day 2005, and the red ribbon symbol will be everywhere. The day is about awareness of HIV and AIDS, their causes and effects. AIDS is now a global plague, killing 8,000 people every day. It is present in every country around the world. Tomorrow there will be a full day of events aiming to raise money in support of AIDS sufferers, and to raise consciousness of safe sex and clean needles.
