Overflow" by Jiang Xueman, one of the works on display at Chat and Chat 2005 Scene, an exhibition of European and Asian contemporary art currently on display at the Shengshi Haotai building site on the Island Ring Road. The exhibition is the brainchild of Piet de Vroede and Zhu Luming, an artist and a curator who share a vision of bringing European and Asian artists together to exchange ideas and techniques. Part of a larger project involving workshops and cooperative works, Chat and Chat brings together sixteen artists from four countries and a wealth of different art forms, including installation, sculpture, mixed media and photography.
