Hole in one for Xiamen

5月21日, 在风景秀丽的东方高尔夫球场, 厦门海景皇冠假日酒店举办的第八届"中国电信·海景杯"高尔夫球赛吸引了本市200多名高尔夫球爱好者. 如今, 越来越多的白领人士开始感受到高尔夫球健康高雅的魅力, 纵横球场, 挑战自我. 同时, 高尔夫球也提升了厦门的旅游内涵.

The 8th "China Telecom·Harbourview Cup" Golf Tournament was held at Xiamen Orient Golf Club last Saturday, co-sponsored by Crowne Plaza Harbourview Xiamen and China Telecom Xiamen Office.

The award presentation dinner party was held at Poolside Lounge of the hotel at night and there was a lucky draw for participants.

Golf is not only for celebrities and golf professionals. Golf has definitely been a lasting sport among the increasing white collars in Xiamen at the present. It partly shows why the tournament has attracted over 200 golfers, quite a large number of whom are with rich golf playing experience and skills.

Due to convenient transportation and excellent amenities, an increasing number of visitors will fly to Xiamen for the weekend to play golf. Meanwhile, the number of local golf amateurs is growing at a fast speed. Up till now, Xiamen has at least 8 amateur golf teams. The members often get together and share the same interests with each other. With its advantaged condition, Xiamen has gradually formed a particular economic pattern for golf travel, which surely will promote its economic development.



Mr Simon Jim, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Harbourview Xiamen, is very proud of their package service in this amazing field, "As for golf, we spare no effort to provide guests with a complete set of services. Furthermore, our hotel has successfully organized seven successive international invitation tournaments before. It has definitely become the traditional festival of our hotel." It is known to all that the hotel has the only golf bar in this city, where golf amatures can pratice while enjoying top performance of golfers on TV.

For some of golf players, Xiamen is their first and last destination to play golf. When they play golf here for the first time, they get to realize that Xiamen is their best choice. Compared with other larger cities in China, they only need to take less one hour to reach the golf course.

Most of the golf players are satisfied with their performance on the course. With fresh air and a great view, they have acquired peace in heart and relaxation. Furthermore, playing golf helps them challenge themselves. Every time when they practice and promote their skill, they can improve both in body and soul.

My healthy life

In most people's views, it couldn't be more perfect to dine out with customers in restaurant, especially in famous and deluxe restaurants. This pervasive sense will lead you to many delicious food and dishes. Moreover, you will not be afraid to be innutrient in your daily recipe.

But it seems a little different to me. Due to my job as a translator, I have to accompany customers for meals as a polite treatment. Surely, I take it as my big pleasure to have meals together.

To my curiousness, I get to know that almost each customer definitely order seafood as his favorite. And they are also excited to have a taste of authentic and famous Chinese seafood. Based on it, we are very honored to offer our best dishes to them. But most customers are new to Chinese dishes and to our featured local food. So we must act as the first taster at table. So I did, although some dishes are forbidden to me, such as spicy food, crispy fried dishes, and some cold buffets so on, because of my poor weak stomach. As remember, I dare not eat the local featured dish named "TushunDong", cause there is something like worms inside for its special characteristic. Once, our president ordered this kind of dish to treat customers, and of course, customer had the same feeling as me for the first time, our president said we must taste first to approve its relish. I scared to make the tasting, followed by customers then.

Sometimes, customers taste the raw lobster with hot mustard. It would make my stomach crazy if I did. Fortunately, I had vinegar as my second choice. But anyway, these experiences are also interesting and happy in my life. For this sake, I must say sorry to my stomach "you have to suffer a little. Maybe I will treat you better next time as a compensation".

After all, no healthy stomach, no healthy life. So the correct and appropriate food for your stomach is also very important in your daily life, as well as the eating habits.

 

健康生活每一天

我的生活, 随着日历一页页翻过, 从从容容如鱼悠游于水, 平平淡淡如矿泉水, 比不上茗茶飘香醉人, 比不上可乐激爽提神, 但入喉却有余甘.

我, 一个奔四的都市女性, 办公室职员, 大学毕业十几年没有跳槽过--做熟了一份活也习惯了工作环境和作息时间, 每月的薪水在别人眼里不多但在自己手里却从未透支过, 何必老折腾换工作的事呢? 作为职业女性兼家庭主妇, 与其常年在工作和生活之间寻求平衡点, 不如省下精力打造自己健康的身体也保留一份平常心.

每天, 我的生活是从一大早转悠在菜场煞费苦心开始的: 该买什么? 怎样合理搭配才能既经济实惠又富有营养? 怎样才能买到没喷过农药的青菜、没泡过福尔马林的海鲜以及符合卫生标准的放心肉? 真希望哪位神仙大姐借我一双慧眼, 省得我为了一家人的食品安全左看右看上看下看......菜篮子工程解决后, 就得匆忙去上班了.

骑车上班, 骑车下班, 边吃晚饭边看新闻联播. 最惬意的莫过于饭后和先生一起出门在筼筜湖畔漫步半小时, 最温馨的莫过于等读小学的女儿做完功课以后一起玩会儿"手指翻绳"的游戏.

上班时勤勤恳恳、一丝不苟, 周末就该抛开杂念、放开手脚彻底放松自己了! 双休日真好, 夏天泳池戏水或海滩劈波斩浪, 冬日爬山吐故纳新晒晒太阳; 阴雨天也不必错过, 室内乒乓球、羽毛球正合适呀, 一家人都去, 带劲! 运动归来饥肠辘辘, 见啥吃啥, 吃么么香. 然后睡它一个下午......

双休日既是两天, 就理当一张一弛, 即一天运动、外出, 另一天韬光养晦: 亲入庖厨, 调弄羹肴; 享口福, 补身体; 一家人交替掌勺, 竞相奉献, 切磋厨艺; 甚至翻阅菜谱, 现学现卖. 色香味养一桌齐, 其乐融融全家福.

一份耕耘, 一份收获. 饮食和锻炼相结合, 感冒发烧之类的小毛病就很少前来登门造访. 即便偶有小疾, 也难不倒我们. 我和先生对经脉穴位都略知一二, 捏脊搓背、捶腿揉肩、舒筋松骨, 大痛化轻, 小痛化无.

寻常百姓寻常事, 但愿健康过每天. 脸刻春秋心未老, 知足常乐一年年.
