About the Exhibition
ArtAreas.com, an international fine art website broker, in association with Kingdom Ceramics(晶碧陶瓷), is pleased to bring the first ever Western Art Exhibition and Sale at the Kingdom Ceramics Gallery in Xiamen.

ArtAreas.com has assembled paintings from such noted artists as, Barbara Kerstetter of New York, New York, Lewis Poston of Phoenix, Arizona, Nathan Stinson of Oceanside (Los Angles), California and Pol Ledent of Houyet, Belgium.

Titled " West Meets East Art Exhibition and Sale", the exhibition includes landscapes impressionist paintings in oil, abstracts in acrylic and oil and photographs on paper.

The exhibition also includes elaborate works by master ceramists of Jingdezhen (China's capital of ceramics).



Curator's words

I started collecting art over 35 years ago. Since then, I have always had an interest in unusual works of art, from oil paintings to glass and tribal art.

Over the past three years we have been very fortunate to have traveled to Jingdezhen with the Kingdom Ceramics partners several times. During these visits we have developed close ties with many of China's greatest Master Ceramists. It has almost been an obsession to collect these radiant porcelain objects; to the extent we forwent our desire to buy a home at this time.

With my love for many forms of art, it has been my goal to bring more "Western" works of art to Xiamen and eventually have a western and eastern art exhibition. I discussed this idea with Yan, a partner, on why I believe it is very important to show Chinese collectors that "Western" art goes together with Chinese art. "Art compliments Art". He offered so graciously to host the exhibition in his gallery.



About Kingdom Ceramics Gallery
Kingdom Ceramics Gallery was founded five years ago. The goal of the gallery is to promote the culture of Jingdezhen ceramics and has been mostly engaged in the sale of works by master ceramists of national and provincial grade. Their primary goal is to promote "Art"!

Having established close ties with the Jindezhen ceramists, Kingdom Ceramics constantly organized Jingdezhen-bound art tours for collectors, which greatly enhanced their interest and faith in collecting ceramics.

Kingdom Ceramics has also opened its gallery bringing to art lovers and collectors other forms of art from around the world.

"Quantum Impressionist"

The artistic photographic work of Nathan Stinson presents light in a new perspective. An interest in quantum physics (the theories of time and space) has fostered his development of a unique photographic technique that captures and translates quantum theory into the visual medium of photography.
