The 2005 Xiamen International Marathon Championships && National Marathon Tournament kicked off at Xiamen International Conference && Exhibition Center on the morning of March 26, attracting 15,778 amateur runners and 142 professionals who competed in eight events, including men's and women's full-length marathon, men's and women's half-length marathon, men's and women's 10km race, and men's and women's 5km race.
