Love letter

Nowadays I cannot clearly remember all the scenes of this story. During that winter, when my friends were moved and in tears, I behaved so calmly that it was beyond my expectation.

I cannot forget the scene in which the girl stood on the slope of the snow-covered mountain crying into the distance saying, " How are you doing? I am fine. How are you doing? I am fine." She repeated the sentence heartily until she lay face-up in the snow and cried. Her words were cut down by the wild wind and her voice was too weak in that winter morning. I do not know whether the boy in heaven could catch her last wishes.

There is one form of love, which exists secretly in the heart and belongs to oneself. There is one form of love, which is simple, pure and persistent. There is one form of love, which has become a kind of belief in life and will last forever.

I was reminded of one winter day in my twenties. The silent boy stood in the snowfield. Everything seemed quiet, just a flurry of snowflakes filled the sky. We stared at each other until the crowd separated around us. We thought we would meet again in that small city, but we never did.

Sometimes we think we still have a chance to meet somebody, so we do not care for what we have once had. But one day, they may disappear from our life forever. This is the punishment given by God, who won't give us a chance to live down our ignorance.

Legally blonde

What do you do when you go out with your boyfriend and expect a marriage proposal from him but it turns out that he dumps you? If it happened to me, I would probably cry, slob around in my worst clothes and eat chocolate all day for the following 3 months, but eventually get over it.
However, Elle Woods, played by Reese Witherspoon in Legally Blonde, decided to follow him to Harvard to win him back and finally she succeeded.

I think Elle's actions are on the mark, though sometimes intuitive and impulsive. The movie's funniest moment comes when she shows up on Harvard's campus decked out in her bright-pink wardrobe, carrying her little dog, and being endlessly chipper. The stark contrast to Harvard's earnest, serious, brown-wearing, and self-important students stays funny long enough to get us into the body of the story.

Without question, Reese Witherspoon carries the film. She puts a lot of "spice" into her role. On the outside she is a Beverly Hills' queen, but on the inside she is a girl full of candor, courtesy, and optimism, struggling to show the world that she's more than just a dumb blonde. In addition, the plot is charming and amusing. You get the pretty boy who pretends to be more than he actually is, you get the mean girl that hates the good girl but eventually they become good friends, you get the ugly guy with a good heart and big brain and you get the good guy that wins the heart of the good girl. It takes a talented performer to make a dumb character likeable.

Actually, not many films set messages these days and we are always just caught up in the storyline. But one of the underlying messages in this film is clear to tell us not to discriminate against people because they are "different" from what people are stereotypically supposed to be. Why couldn't a savvy blond party girl be a successful attorney? Getting rid of the prejudice against women is what we have been fighting towards for years. More importantly, it has a good message that is pretty much saying that if you believe in yourself and work hard you can do anything. Therefore, if you have ever been told you're not good enough to do something, then you can relate to Reese Witherspoon's character.

格莱美奖, 英文简称the Grammy Awards,格莱美奖的全称长得吓人, 叫做"美国国家录音艺术与科学学会奖".

1957年, 美国洛杉矶一批音乐人和唱片公司管理人员倡议成立一个代表音乐制品艺术和科学的机构, 并通过这个机构鼓励有才华的音乐家, 歌手及幕后音乐制作人员. 于是有了美国国家录音艺术与科学学会(简称录音学会), 格莱美奖也因此诞生, 1958年颁发第一届, 明年2月份将是第47届. 奖项也由最初时的26项增加到今年的31大类共108项.
