Linde Explorer is back home

On August 24, Linde Explorer, a Linde forklift truck arrived home after traveling for three months since it embarked from Harbin. In this Trans-China Linde Forklift Rally, Linde Explorer started from China's northern city Harbin and is traveling all the way down to South China. It will reach its destination in Shenzhen in September. This is the first time that a forklift truck has traveled 6,000 km on roads in all kinds of weather conditions. After the truck successfully completes its mission in September, Linde-Xiamen Forklift Truck Co., Ltd. will apply for the Guinness Book of World Records.

After an already three-month trip, this Linde forklift truck looks still in a brand-new and perfect condition. Through this Trans-China Forklift Truck Rally, Linde-Xiamen aims to demonstrate the high quality and good performance of its products to their customers. The Linde Explorer is witnessing China's economic achievements, beautiful scenery and historical culture all along the way. This activity also shows to Linde's customers the comprehensive service ability and reliability throughout China.

The Linde Explorer is heading for Shenzhen at the moment.

Bridge to be built next year to connect Xiamen and Zhangzhou

A sea-spanning Xiamen-Zhangzhou bridge, with a total length of 12.3 km and a width of 33 m, is currently under intense preparation. The feasibility report for this proposed national grade 1 highway bridge is expected to be reviewed and approved by the year-end, with construction scheduled for next year. After completion, the bridge will shorten the journey from Xiamen to Zhangzhou to half an hour.

Gulong Group has announced its decision to contribute 30,000 yuan to sponsor the nurturing of a Xiamen tiger. Officials with Gulong said that Xiamen tigers are the only animals named after the city and occupy the third slot on the list of the world's most endangered animal species and that it's thus the obligation of Xiamen people and businesses to protect Xiamen tigers. It's reported that 30,000 yuan is enough to buy a year's worth of food for one Xiamen tiger. Since "Dongdong", the last Xiamen tiger at Xiamen Zoo, died of heat stroke July 4, saving the endangered species of tiger has become a hot topic in town.
