A lot of teenagers have accepted the slogan “be yourself”. They trade their individuality willingly and seek to join peers who can share their common experiences. How can teenagers find a group they belong to? The series of "tribes", or interest groups, created by M-zone and promoted by China Mobile are currently one of their best choices to answer this question.

Thinking about various tastes and lifestyles of young people, M-zone has provided seven tribes with distinctive themes in order that the young generation can find their own stage. Having an interest in shopping and cuisine, you won’ t regret joining the Street Wise Tribe(逍遥部落). The Sunshine Camp(阳光营地) is especially set up for those who are eager to polish their foreign language skills as well as get more information about studying abroad.

If you attended the opening ceremony for the M-Zone Cute Spirit Tribe (酷行精灵部落)at Xiamen University on the evening of February 28th, you would easily have gotten to know how teenagers share their enthusiasm once they have found peers.

The ceremony also included a Hip-Hop performance by college students from Fujian Province, including a group from the other side of the Taiwan Straits.

As the powerful rhythm spread over the whole stadium, every attendant appeared to be crazy.

“It is so dynamic that we can’ t say no.” One of the audience members seemed to be enjoying the performance a lot as he moved his body to the rhythm as if nobody was watching. A crazy young girl even watched the performance on her boy friend’ s back for her sight was blocked by the crowd. Joy and excitement did not only belong to teenagers. More than a few adults and kids had quite a good time as well. The true meaning of the party must have been to never to mind others’ opinions and show your true self.

The existence of the team “All Stars” heated up the scene. The crowd were getting stirred up as they got used to the peculiar but vigorous music. With another performance by the team “OR (Original Rhythm)” from Taiwan, the party was brought to a climax.

As one participant exclaimed, “Everybody has his or her own stage as long as you know who you are.” Just explore your lifestyle and project yourself with your peers.
