Try Chinese cooking

The Best Western
Premier Xiamen Central Hotel(京闽中心酒店) offered a "hands-on" cooking class
on Thursday, February 12th, 2004, where a chef taught foreign women who
live in Xiamen and then let them cook by themselves. One way to learn
about other cultures is through cooking, and Xiamen foreign women are
learning that the famous eight local Chinese flavors are available
right here at the hotel. Last week, the 14 ladies from 7 countries
enrolled in the Chinese cooking class found themselves intrigued by
cooking “Cantonese Stir-fried Noodles with Beef” through the culinary
instruction of Mr. Lin Hai, an executive chef of the hotel.
