大嘴吃四方

有个tongue twister（绕口令）：Amoy’s boys enjoy fried oyster.（厦门的男孩喜欢吃海蛎煎。）那天，为了寻找传说中最地道的fried oyster，我和一个朋友花了一个下午的时间在中山路开展地毯式搜索。我是个爱吃的人，在尽享厦门美食的同时，也搜集了一些英语表达方式和大家分享，说 不定春节走亲访友或是哪个聚会上可以show一下呢！

读书的时候，早餐比较匆忙，一个clay oven rolls（烧饼）或者fried bread stick（油条）夹steamed buns（馒头）配上一杯soybean milk（豆浆）就很美味了。And my favorite breakfast is rice and vegetable rolls and milk. Sometimes, I get up early and have time to enjoy a bowl of duck porridge. （我最爱的早餐是饭团配牛奶，有时起得早还能慢慢享受一碗鸭肉粥呢。）午餐、晚餐的选择性比较大，fried rice noodles（炒米粉），barbeque sauce noodles（沙茶面），sliced noodles（刀削面），terrine noodles（沙锅），chicken curry（咖喱鸡饭）, spring rolls（春卷）……但是有一样东西，我实在是受不了：I can’t stand the smell of sea worm jelly（土笋冻）。

夏夜我们常常去冰店来个oatmeal ice 、sweet potato ice 、red bean with milk ice、eight treasures ice（麦角冰、地瓜冰、红豆牛奶冰、八宝冰），冬天时一起围炉hot pot（火锅）必不可少。
