Thousands of Xiamen University students gathered at Jiageng Square
on New Year's Eve. They sang and danced throughout the night to welcome
the chiming of the New Year's bell. They also prayed for Shen Ruixia, a
schoolmate who suffers from leukaemia. M-Zone of Xiamen Mobile was the
sponsor of this event, who also organized a donation for the student.
