Linde-Xiamen celebrates growth

On December 6, Linde-Xiamen Forklift Truck Co., Ltd celebrated its 10th anniversary at the International Conference & Exhibition Center. Since its establishment in 1993, Linde-Xiamen has been making a lot of achievements and is now in the leading position in this field.

The celebration ceremony started in a very creative way. The 10th anniversary logo - a Chinese dragon in the shape of "10" and "LX (Linde-Xiamen)" was exhibited at the conference hall. When Secretary of CPC in Xiamen, Mr. Zheng Lizhong, and Linde AG representatives, Mr. Schmohl and Mr. Winzl made finishing touches on the dragon by drawing on the eyes, the dragon "came to life" in accordance with the Chinese legend.

Mr. Heinrich Winzl, General Manager of Linde-Xiamen delivered a speech on the achievements and the future development of the company at the celebration ceremony. He attributed its success to high-quality products, professional sales service to customers and a highly innovative and skillful team.

"Ten years ago, the scale of the Chinese material handling market was small. However, Linde firmly believed that China had the greatest development potential throughout Asia. Now that ten years have passed, the achievements we have made prove that we made the right decision."

The total investment of Linde-Xiamen has now reached RMB 1.8 billion from RMB 1.4 billion in 1993. "The Chinese market is crucial to Linde’s future development." Dr. Schmohl, Member of the Board of Linde AG said.

"In the near future, we are going to build Linde-Xiamen into a production base in Asia and continue to expand the sales network. We are going to build a Research and Development center in Xiamen.
