Gulong receives compensation

Tong'an District Government has agreed to pay RMB 2 million as compensation to Xiamen Gulong Group for the deferred handover of a plot of land acquired by the company. The compensation will be paid as a penalty by Tong'an District Government as its deferment has constituted a breach of contract between the two parties. The compensation will be the first one of its kind in local history.

On November 12, the local public security bureau busted 24 fraudulent telecom service providers aimed at swindling Taiwanese residents. A total of 56 Taiwanese suspects were found and RMB 280,000, NT 350,000 and HKD 30,000 in illegal profits were confiscated.
